Grauer Figurative work
View
this Collection
As I age and age and age, I'm enjoying creating more small figure paintings. They're refreshing after years of landscapes. If you like them let me know, it's nice to know that someone out there is watching.
This location of this painting is the breathtaking Hanalei Bay on Kauai, Hawaii. Colors there are sheer heaven for a painter. This Wahini (Hawaiian lady) is greeting the sunrise with the blowing of the conch shell. The eery sound of this shell was a means of communication in ancient Hawaii. Aloha
